re: Did you take trips with your grandparents when you were younger?

Only ever had one grandmother, she brought me on my first airplane trip (all the way from BTR to Dallas), taught me which fork to use at fancy dinner banquets, and let me tag along on all her Post Office convention trips. She also used to let me walk to Calandro's and buy myself a Coke, since she didn't keep any in her house. Great memories.

Grandma is now 92, her sight isn't the best, but otherwise, she is a picture of health and her mind is still sharp as a tack. If I was only going to have one grandparent, she is a great one to have.
