Cheapest Hue A19 I find on Amazon is $15 a piece.
Nonetheless, a mix of plugs, switches, bulbs is likely to be required to get a solution customized for every individual.
I went the TP-Link solution (plugs and switches) for a couple of reasons:
- No separate hub required
- TP Link offered the right mix of products to automate what I wanted
- Only one App needed (Kasa) to control lights and simple appliances
What I would like (waiting for TP Link to develop it) is a smart wall switch with dimming control. I have a lighting fixture with apprx. 15 candelabra type bulbs.
