I currently have three TP Link smart plugs in use.

The first controls my coffee maker...
Alexa, coffee on... from my bedroom.

The second controls the two bedroom table lamps.

The third controls living room table lamps.

I went with the plugs because they are cheaper than the equivalent TP Link smart bulbs and I have no real desire for dimming control/colors.
Being able to start the coffee as soon as I wake up without a trip to the kitchen is damn convenient.

I also have a TP Link Smart switch that controls outside security lighting.

Overall, I'm happy with the TP Link products.

They are easy to install and integrate well with my Echo Dot.

Could you not program your coffee maker to a certain time?

Also, bulbs are like 11. The plugs are about 30.
