Switching phones without fee

I have a iPhone 5 currently and I want to switch to a 6S. Both were on the sprint network (disconnected 6S phone because they left my family plan). Is there a way to switch iPhones without an activation fee? It is unclear online.

Why don't you call sprint and ask them? If they make you pay to switch from one phone you own to another phone you own them F them.

If you know someone they CAN waive the activation fee.

I mean I just go up to AT&T every time I break an iPhone to activate my shite 6+ I have as a backup and they just do it.
Do other carriers actually charge you to activate it? What a rip off, if so.

why can't you just put the SIM card in the 6S?
