you could say the same thing about Jordan, who got to the line just as much. So did Wade. So do most elite scorers.

We've been over this. Harden is playing for the foul while the others get fouled trying to score.

It is frustrating because he doesn't need to do it. He's an elite scorer without the ticky tack BS.

It's been a while since I looked it up, but I believe Harden has a far higher free throw attempt per field goal attempt than even Jordan, despite players getting to the line far more frequently during much of Jordan's career and Jordan playing a style much more conducive to getting fouled.

Getting fouled is a skill in and of itself, but Harden's is so ridiculously high that it goes beyond that skill. I don't blame him, but I think the refs are probably doing a poor job of actually identifying legitimate fouls.
