the talk of Bledsoe/Dragic has never made much sense to me in reality for that reason.
I get why you say that, but there were multiple games where AD/DC dropped 50+ and they still lost. It just often felt like they needed a 3rd scorer. I have no problem with adding Rubio/Lin whether Holiday stays or goes, but Jordan Crawford can't be your best scoring guard. Post ASB he was, averaging 14.1 in 23 MPG compared to Holiday's 13.8 in 33 MPG.

They will never go anywhere of significance without a good lead guard. You can't just surround the two bigs with shooters only.
I know no one liked the idea at the trade deadline, but the Rondo we are seeing right now is the perfect pg for this team if you find two shooters to go with him.
Watching the playoffs you see how important veteran playoff guys are like Rondo and Joe Johnson.

i agree, but i would say not scorer but they need a better creator and some more guys who can create off reversals/post outlets. they definitely need a lead guy who is better off the bounce, but is a willing passer and is okay spending many possessions off the ball.
it's fitting around the two bigs- not forcing Cousins/Davis into being screeners (which neither guy is particularly good at) for a guard to score 20+
i have legit doubts about Dragic being the player he was this year or that one year in Phoenix in NO. maybe Bledsoe fits better, but i'm not entirely sold on him either
ETA- also wonder about those games and they turn out with better shooters around Davis/Cousins or another guy or two like Moore who is just competent off the bounce
