Make the BR Loop a tollway and it will pay for itself in 5-10 years EASILY.

That's a no-brainer. The hurdle is getting the capital to invest initially. A public private partnership is really the only solution, in my opinion. While, from what I've heard, the State has put out "feelers" to try and get interested parties to step forward, I think it needs to be pursued more aggressively. We send politicians out to foreign countries to see how their "societies" are run but have we sent out parties to "sell" this loop project to the big investment teams? Maybe I'm wrong, but I haven't heard of this happening yet. This type of project is 5-10 years out minimum before construction would be able to begin as it is now. Waiting is only going to extend and magnify that delay time, not to mention the cost. Everyday day, the problem and cost gets worse.

Make the BR Loop a tolled Autobahn and the tolled autobahn also extends down I-10 to NOLA and down I-12 to Slidell.
