I doubt that my opinion that one NBA player is overrated makes me an idiot.
I'm not saying he is terrible. He's just not a top 5 player. The talking heads act like he is amazing, but he's truly not on the level of the guys that have a potential to carry a team and win a championship.

No one who has any basketball knowledge thinks that Isaiah Thomas is a top 5 player.
You can't make any legit argument he's better than Westbrook, Harden, Durant, Lebron, Kawhi, or Steph. There are a lot of other players better than him as well.
