Not a fan of the Bluegrass Miracle. It literally took a miracle for us to beat KY in football. It was cool to see the response of the KY fans who already thought they had won but we should not have been in that position in the first place.
The Halloween Run will always be the most famous play not only because if involved LSU's only Heisman Trophy winner but because it was Ole Piss and what was at stake at the time. What was equally and some say more impressive in that game was the goal line stand to preserve the win.

Also overlooked is the 4th and 4 Flynn to Doucet TD against Bama that same year to tie the game which led to Chad Jones sack/fumble and eventually Hester game winning plunge from 3 yds out....in Bama

Jones to Davis against Ole Miss in 72. Remember it like it was yesterday. Was sitting very low on the south end of the West Side on about the 5 yard line, very close to the vantage point of where this footage was shot.
lsu vs ole miss 72
That was a thrilling game. The Mississippi to Louisiana state road sign read "set your clock back 7 seconds you're entering Louisiana" due too Ole Miss claims that LSU was given a few seconds more to run what turned out to be the touchdown scoring play-drive. What fun!!
