Erin Burnett - "apparently a very SMALL group of ISIS fighters were there for the BIGGEST bomb dropped since WW2. ONLY 36 ISIS fighters were killed."

They are spinning this as a waste of money and time because only 36 fighters were killed.

The price to me is really cheap in terms of the lives that were most likely saved by killing those 36 terrorist.

You can bet if we sent in ground forces and ended up taking casualties, they would go nuts bitching about that

Well I would agree that the cost per kill isn't efficient. (9 million per kill, there abouts) However, I think this was more about show and theatrics then anything else. Which I am absolutely fine with.

I am not a military expert, so I don't know why this bomb may have been the only option to complete the misson. I don't really care. It just shows that we have a lot of cool toys and are not scared to use them.

Big win politically for DJT, MOAB kills 40 terrorists, CNN is having a nervous breakdown.

We dropped 100,000 lbs of ordinance within 1 minute and killed maybe 4 people in Syria. Why is 36 dead using 21,500 lbs of ordinance at once so terrible? Or underachieving I should say.

I realize casualties weren't the objective in Syria, but planes were still taking off the next day. And I doubt those 36 guys were crowded around a campfire. The MOAB basically cleared out an entire operating area.

Do they think it's more cost effective to break it down into 1,000 lb payloads with individually guided long range delivery vehicles? Pushing the MOAB out of the back of a C130 seems pretty economical

this, along with every other biased crock of shite the MSM puts out, will be debunked and proven wrong, there will probably be 360 dead total, and yet there will be no retraction or apology. Fake news gonna fake news.

I hate to disagree with a noted military expert like Erin Burnett, but she's overlooking the "oh shite" factor for the rest of those scumbags.

I don't think the MOAB was chosen so much for the amount of people it could kill as it was for the amount of terrestrial destruction it could cause.

Did anyone else notice what looked like a landslide in the video clip of the bomb detonating?
