We only had a couple of options, and the MOAB was one of them. Sending in an ODA to seize a position like this would have been the height of stupidity and a tremendous waste of military resources.

it was 3 tunnels and 36 terrorist, plus munitions. Are you telling me, this was the best option for use of resources? We have a limited supply of these, they are extremely expensive as well. I realize its fortified, but come on man, we go up against far more than this routinely. This was a shock and awe display for ratings.
Again, I have no problem with using large expensive weapons when they are used for comparable targets.
