BOWMAN'S CASE PURCHASED !!!! KEEP AN EYE OUT FOR THE SIGNUP PAGE (once it's full, it's full) ONCE WE HAVE AN OFFICIAL DATE/TIME SET. MORE DETAILS/EXPLANATION ON PAGE 2. RANDOM TEAMS $35.00 per spot (multiples allowed permitted we are not leaving people out). I'm going to crunch some numbers. Me making money is not the point of this expedition. I may end up combining the bottom 4 teams into 2 combo slots.

Intro

We had talked about this before in quite a large thread. I'm willing to pull the trigger and front the money on the case. I have the supplies. The gloves to prevent greasy hands, the sleeves, the hard cases on any big hits. Cameras to show the angles needed to show lack of foul play. Have delved into the world of breaks a little too extensively monetarily, but can tell you which is the best bang for your buck. I'm going to throw football out here and narrow it down to baseball and basketball. There simply aren't many quality football products and unless you get the Eagles/Cowboys (maybe even then you won't pull Wentz/Elliot/Prescott), you can bet on getting next to nothing of value unless you pull that miracle card.

Basketball -

Best bang for the buck is Absolute.

LINK

Select is nice, but Absolute provides the coveted patch autographs at a much nicer deal. Plenty of cool relic cards and auto cards.

Baseball -

This is my favorite go to without breaking the bank.

LINK

Plenty of autos per box. Around 32 per case. Decent chance at some numbered refractors. That's the gist of it though. Autos and refractors. You have to hit a pretty decent refractor I've noticed to crack $$

The basketball one would be $30/spot random teams using random.org. This includes shipping all cards for your team.

The baseball one would run about $35/spot random teams using random.org. This includes shipping all cards for your team.

This is not for me to make profit. The case + shipping + supplies will run me about equal to the costs of the buy-ins. I also have some random cards laying around that obviously aren't monsters, but are cool nonetheless, patch/autos etc..that I would be giving away.

Basically what I need to know:

Baseball/Basketball?

How many spots would you anticipate purchasing?

It's a really fun event and that's why I'd like to try it with the MSB. It's alot more fun to see that Bregman 1/1 superfractor go to a poster you communicate with.

If there isn't enough interest, I will scrap the idea, but I think people would have fun and there are some cool pulls out there. I'm willing to do the legwork. Even better if we established a core that would like to pick which cases we break next.

I'm in, Baseball, two spots, Cardinals and Orioles

Or can we pick teams now

Ah just saw random teams, as I was, i don't care about the value to the cards, and thus wouldn't care to get randoms valuable or not of a team I don't care for

I'm down for MLB. Can't guarantee I'll be in for the long term, but we'll see.
