I think what bothers me the most about these CST games is all the stupid sponsorships. The starting lineups, umpires, ball park dimensions, and weather were all brought to us by someone. Just makes it very amateurish

What a weird thing to be bothered by.

Does it hinder you from watching the game?

Try the radio broadcast. It's way worse, but funny in a way.

"Gilbert's pitch is low for ball three. And if you're feeling low, call our friends at Acadian Psychology, the official therapists for LSU sports fans. And that one is fouled back for strike two."

Unfortunately broadcasting LSU games to local audiences isn't an extremely lucrative.
I feel fortunate to be able to see them on TV. We are fortunate CST is as sophisticated as they are.

Say what you want about Lyn, no one can say he doesn't love LSU. He is very knowledgeable about baseball. I appreciate his insights. I'm pretty sure he was a NCAA umpire.
