re: Electric Mower - worth it?

If you're looking for an easier way to cut your grass, don't ditch gas and go to battery operated.. bite the bullet and buy a self propelled mower.. like I previously said, I've never used an electric mower but I'd guess that if you let your yard get too thick it'd be incredibly difficult to cut, I just can't imagine they produce the same power as a gas mower. and as far as the gas is concerned, buy a five gallon gas can and just fill it up every two or three months (might even take you longer than that to burn 5 gallons)...

If you're around the Nola area let me know, I repair mowers all the time and can probably get you one pretty cheap because people just bring me shite that don't work all the time

If you have any sort of mechanical know how, you can take your carb off your mower and clean it or just replace it altogether..
