Former US marine has made the revelation that he helped create ISIS.

He is absolutely correct. Dont see why so many are so blind. The US has a history of creating a problem just so they can then create a solution to it.

Dude you seem very upset. Let me ask you a question. Was 9-11 an inside job?

No shite. The Iraq War destabilized that region of the Middle East, leaving room for ISIS to grow and prosper. It's not our fault that happened though, we removed the head and the evil in that region just sprung up another head. But we should learn from our mistake and stop destabilizing foreign governments

Wasn't Iraq originally carved out by the English, French, and Russians?

Yeah, member that time when the US helped the Egyptians destroy Judah and enslave the Hebrews?

Or that time the US helped the Assyrians destroy Babylon?

And that other time when the US helped Nebuchadnezzer reestablish Babylonia and destroy Jerusalem?

And after that when the US helped Jesus of Nazareth start his movement?

And after that when the US helped Muhammad get born and then establish Islam?

And then that time when the US got the Ottoman Empire up and running so the European Christians could go get in a fight with them?

I guess I see your point: the entirety of the mess in the middle east really deserves to be laid at the door step of the good ol' US of A...

you're video is from 2013 got anything that's not 5 years old?

did you see the part where he talks about reading kerouac and hunter thompson and smoking pot and eating mushrooms to get enlightened?

this is a little more recent from 2015

Emanuele said he began educating himself during his second tour by talking to family and friends and engaging in the work of anti-war activists and intellectuals like Howard Zinn, Noam Chomsky, and Amy Goodman, as well as learning about the activities of groups such as Veterans for Peace, Iraq Veterans Against the War, and Vietnam Veterans against the War. This helped him contextualize his anecdotal experience.

“I knew what I was seeing was wrong, I knew it was immoral, I knew it was unjust, I knew it was illegal,” said Emanuele to RT, “and I knew that we would pay severe consequences in the form of the blowback as we are seeing with groups like ISIS. I knew those things were going to happen back then just from being a self-conscious person.”

weak sauce bro.

I laugh a bit to myself every time someone uses "former military" or "Vet" to try to establish credibility.

You give us waaaaaayyyyyy too much credit....we do stupid shite like invade Iraq and topple Hussein without a lot of thought as to what happens afterwards and then bad shite happens and we react...it is more dumb luck than by design....but it certainly works wonders for some individuals personal finances!!!

Marines aren't exactly known as the smart ones, OP.

Besides, this is such a pussy way of thinking.

Yup.

It is not just a vagary of History that as soon as the USSR collapsed, a new global terror threat soon emerged - one that we made much worse by destabilizing Iraq.

Some of our policies and adventures in the ME have undoubtedly had a destabilizing effect. But ISIL, an outgrowth of AQI and its predecessors, did not come about because of this alleged shitbird Marine and his alleged fricked-up undisciplined unit. Good on him for being an RT puppet, though.

Hey you work in media, you ever think about going that route? May as well get paid for what you do for free.

He didn't create this problem.

Neither did I and any service member who has served there.

This problem was created by Saudi Arabia and our government that funded these so called rebels in the region which were Isis.

OBAMA created ISIS when he unilaterally pulled out of Iraq.

We? Who's we? That's like blaming the water for finding the hole in the boat. Now go do the right thing.
