Except he really didn't put up better stats, especially when you bring percentages in

So wait, the percentages counted 2 years ago but not this year when Harden has the better % but not the better counting stats?

It's the same thing. Curry had the better team, was more efficient but Harden had the better counting stats.

This year Harden has the better team, more wins and better %s.

Like I said, I have no problem with Westbrook winning, but some of you continue to talk out of your arse.

Where the frick have I said that? Pretty positive I'm looking at everything.

Curry, in less minutes, also had more assists and steals. He set the NBA record from 3. He was better in the TO department as well

Also, the disparity in % isn't even close. Curry shot better from 3 in 15 than Harden did from the floor. There was a 4.7% difference in 2015, compared to 1.3% this year.

Harden's having a great year at 43.9% > 42.6%. there is a .02% difference from 3. That isn't near enough to overcome it. Harden is also playing more minutes....

Westbrook has him in Pts, rebounds (by over 2/game), and Steals despite playing ~2 less minutes a game

Is that what you call it when you're putting words in other people's mouths?

Nice to see harden doing the same thing since 2015....

Per 48:

Curry vs Harden
Pts: 34.8 vs 35.7 (.8 difference)
Assists: 11.3 vs 9.1 (2.2 difference)
Rebounds: 6.3 vs 7.4 (1.1 difference)
Turnovers: 4.55 vs 5.2 (.7 difference)
Steals: 2.9 vs 2.5 (.4 difference)

FG%: 48.7 vs 44 (4.7% difference)
3 point %: 44.3 vs 37.5 (6.8 difference)

It's a pretty huge reach to say Harden had better stats. The %s stand out because they aren't even close.

If you mean that Curry led Harden and now Westbrook led Harden in the majority of the catch all stats, then yes, it is the same thing.

Curry led Harden in almost every single advanced metric, and he had a +11 team win advantage.

This year, Westbrook is ahead of Harden in most advanced metrics (PER, Box +\-, VORP, Real +/-), and Harden's team win advantage will be anywhere from +6 to +10.

So Harden is deserving, but 2014-2015 is not very comparable. Curry was clearly ahead of Harden, while the same can't be for Harden over Westbrook, and in fact, most metrics point to Westbrook.
