Then why does it matter than OKC has no chance at a ship?

In a normal year last year rockets don't make the playoffs either. We never said anything different.

It was bolded Bubba!

----If you set your team up in a position to have a chance, at the ultimate goal, that's the most important thing----

If your team ain't good enough in the reg season to even have a chance at the title. The season ain't that special.

OKC is trash. In a normal year in the west they wouldn't even make the playoffs. Net rating of 1 more times than not leaves you on the outside looking in
Which is why Uncle Russ will win the MVP. I can't even imagine what their net rating would be without the MVP. Westbrook

What do you think it would be?

OKC has 46 wins. With 4 games to go. They could lose out, and they'd have made the playoffs last year, in 2015, and in 2013. That's 4 years out of the last 5, Piñata. AKA, the "normal years" since the strike shortened 2012 season.

STFU, son.

I'm not a hypotheticals guy. I prefer to use the data we have and lean on that instead of making up stuff that can never be proven.

Put it to ya like this. They are 11th defensively. And 16th offensively.

They would be better defensively and worse offensively without him.

With him they are a below average offense.

BELOW AVERAGE OFFENSE.

People want to give MVP to someone leading a below. Average. Offense.

We don't play the how good would this team be with this player game. Or how many teams would this team win without this player game. It's a Nonsense argument. We stick to readily available data.

Like:

OKC net rating not playoff caliber most years.
When both players are ON the court. Harden leads his squad to a much better net rating.

I like to keep things casual. I also like to be right about who is going to win the MVP in my casual discussions. So, I've got that going for me.
