I don't for one minute buy into the fact we did this as just a spanking alone. It had some measure of true military action to win a conflict. He is surrounded by Generals in his cabinet and they all figured this to be just a disciplinary action?
No, that is absurd. This was meant to be a sign of force against Assad and the willingness of America to help out when Obama wouldn't help the Rebels.
