it's a shame the U.S. has missed the boat on state-vs.-state competition in their pro sports... i'd love tournaments like this in football, basketball, and baseball, and soccer rooting for a Louisiana all-star team and occasionally making a run

This country would go crazy if something Iike this would happen
Just imagine how a state like Nebraska or South Dakota would react if their state found a way to beat California, Texas or Florida because of having one great pitcher or one hitter on a hot streak

Team Louisiana would dominate in the football tournament.
We would probably get demolished in every other sport though, but I would tune into every single game.
