Where is Romero?!?!

And why is he not hitting behind Deichmann and giving him some protection??? He's got the most pop in his bat of anyone outside Deichmann. This just makes absolutely no sense. The most insulting is sticking Watson behind him...seriously?!?!

CPM doesn't like Romero for reasons unknown.
Maybe it was it comment last year about hitting better while catching...
Ultimately, we don't know why CPM has a grudge against Romero, just that he does. He'd rather lose without him and show him who's boss than win with him in the lineup.

Deichman struck out looking twice last night. He doesn't need any protection, he needs to hit the ball when they throw strikes, just like the rest of the team.
That being said, Romero really should be playing, and I'll even admit that I am not a huge fan of his.

His son and Romero played together at Catholic. Don't know if anything went down there, but Romero has always been in PM's doghouse

Agreed. If he's able to swing without major pain it's time to get him in behind Deichmann tonight.

Very good point! You can see he is guessing and thinking WAY to much at the plate. You could tell last night he was thinking breaking ball when he got that fast ball. RELAX GREG, its a long season.
