When I was a little kid growing up in the 60s and 70s kidnapping were the kind of things that happened in movies.
Partly I think it is because we have changed the definition and broadened it. It used to be that some runaway girl who ran off to Times Square and started prostituting herself, maybe with a Pimp backing her up was called just that, a prostitute. Now we call it child trafficking, which to me implies that the person is not a runaway but was somehow tricked or snatched.
But I am really not talking about that which I just mentioned above, that is semantics. I am talking about people literally walking to the grocery store and getting thrown in a van or snatched from a parking lot or even pulled away during a home invasion. I mean I just literally never heard about this kind of stuff 40 years ago and I was watching the news back then, even being a kid. Got me interested in current affairs and politics. The only kidnapping case I can remember is the confusing Patty Hearst case.
Now these stories seem to come up far more often. Is it that the internet is popularizing stuff that used to be kept quiet? Is there for whatever reason (and what would the reason be?) really an uptick in this kind of criminal behavior?
I don't get it.

It wasn't a government protected activity back then
These days too many people in high places engage in pedophilia and child trafficking

I remember hearing the story of a girl who escaped. She mentioned that she was pimped to high end, wealthy, and people who clearly have influence. She described one of the holding places being underneath a casino or something because she could hear people and what sounded like slot machines. Whenever she was transported she was blindfolded. She said a lot of the girls were no older than 11 or 12 years old. Smh
She escaped in between transports and ran into a policeman. She remembers the officer having a hard time believing she was actually kidnapped. She feared at one point that the officer was going to return her back to her captors.
Can you imagine the psychological effects this would have on a female.
After hearingthe elija wood story on how young boys are exploited in Hollywood it makes you wonder the psychological effects on young males who are kidnapped.

Normally you feared your kids going outside at night. Now they are doing it in broad daylight

Internet, increase in reporting and speed of communication, authorities take advantage of the aforementioned to get word out to as many people as possible.

I believe our society has just gone nuts. The little town I am from might have had one murder a year if that. Just this year there have been 5 or 6 and multiple abductions and attempted abductions.

Pedophilia is a powerful tool of control by the elite.
It causes children to not develop strong sense of self and causes them to be reliant. It is literally a tool of the globalist to stop nationalism and fascism.

There is a bunch of sick fricks out there, who deserve to have one of those jackets to hug themselves, so they can realize what love means.

Sick fricks is an understatement, but I get what you mean.

It is also used by the deep state to control the lesser elites and handlers...
CIA just says do x,y,z...what do those that are in the mix do? Exactly what they're told. When the NSA goes after homegrown constitutionalists, but avoids the human trafficking empire, you know something is up...
They control the press the same way

You notice how they didn't describe anything about the perpetrators yet ask at the end of the article to call the Sharon PD if you have any information. Just a white sedan with "possibly" a New York license plate. Good luck with that.

Don't forget that in the parts of the world the Dems are so enthralled to import people from, kidnapping is a growth industry.
Mexico? Yep, kidnap for ransom is an established part of the climate, usually tourists but some business professionals too. S.American countries? Yep, kidnap not just tourists but business people to hold the employer responsible for the ransom. Mid East? Yep, hold mercs ("contractors") and business people and tourists for ransom as standard daily activity.
We love our unfettered immigration don't we? No chance POTUS was partially elected to stop these exact types from coming here.
