It certainly is for Greg Anthony and McHale. They said tonight that Russ was their #1.
Must be listening to the wrong podcasts

You count the non voters votes. I'll count the voters votes. We will see who is more accurate.

Psyche of rocketfan is so tied to this MVP thing, my goodness

I really do wonder if others share their sentiment. They pretty much said the season long triple double is an absolute lock for their vote. Literally the end all be all. McHale was giddy over the history of the accomplishment.
Now, Boom has said that the 1st place votes will be relatively close. And the Vegas odds certainly point to a Harden win. But it was still interesting.

It'll come down to the 2nd and 3rd place votes. A lot of players and former players are saying co-MVPs,but I doubt it would happen.

Big run by Portland, just took lead.
Starting to pick up the intensity. Lillard heating up for Portland, jokic quiet so far for Denver

Greg Anthony said he had a vote

I'm not sure I'll ever understand the significance of the MVP award for fans. It's an individual award. It's a regular season award. The player who wins will get a pat on the back for 24 hours. And then it won't really be discussed again unless it's to talk about how their team didn't live up to the hype in the post season. Which will most likely be the case this year.

In one thread, one of the Rockets posters here was ranting and raving about how unfair the voters are because of something about the criteria used to give it to Steph is being used against Harden, I don't really remember. But point is, he was talking about basically how absurd the voters are.
In that very same thread, he called me "retarded" for saying I don't care what those voters vote and never have.

Last year he didn't.

Would gladly have traded that Heisman for a natty.
Put JFF on the map (we saw how that shite turned out), and A&M to a lesser extent (another difference from well established/known NBA programs), but it was mostly a reminder of what might have been, had we had a field goal kicker worth a damn
CFB Heisman =/= NBA MVP. False equivalency.
Nice try, though

I didn't see him on last years vote, but I see Westbrook got a ton of 2nd and 3rd place votes last year.

Well we know billy simmons got him 4th on the ballot this year. Hard to imagine he's close to the only one with that line of thinking when we've seen who the award has historically gone to.

*individual
Then, like the obtuse mofo you are, you proceeded to attempt to compare two entirely different regular seasons in two completely different sports, on two completely different levels of sport......just so you could get in an Aggy zinger.
Damn, Pinata....not your best look.

Hey he's not an regular season individual award guy. Except when a guy on his team can win it. Totally understood.
