Wife and I are going to the baseball game Saturday from out of town and need a lunch spot rec. Nothing too expensive or fancy but something kinda new or different around Baton Rouge. We have been to City Pork once.
Thanks
Thanks

Have been to all 3 but thanks. It doesn't really need to be super close to stadium just wanting to try something new as its been a while since we have been to BR.

personally, i like Jubans for pregame. might be slightly more expensive, but really good, and lunch you don't booze it up.
or you could hit Georges down the street. Lots of history there, plus jalopeno cheese fries.

Your moms is close and good food before a game. About 8 beers on tap several others by bottle.
Lit is also really good for the cheap price.

Good suggestions so far. I'll submit getting an AM Mart poboy and tailgating.

How are those two doing? Tried Brecks when it opened but not the other

I have always enjoyed the sandwiches at brecks. Plus it's never as busy as walkons and they have decent prices on drinks.
We enjoyed bullfish. Nice menu. Good drinks and atmosphere. Maybe a tad higher on price but not terribly bad.
