Someone will always take if off your hands if you do that.

Or drop it off to Habitat for Humanity. If its still usable at all, they'll put it to use for a good cause.

This may be a viable option. I'll certainly look into this.


Update, I called my local Sherwin Williams store. If I want to dispose of the paint in the trash, the person that answered the phone said that Home Depot sells a "powder" that will harden the paint and once hardened, it can then be disposed of in the trash.
