Natchez needs some kind of new industry in the worst way. Hard to convince any business to locate to a place where the employee's kids will have sent to private school out of the gate.

Low oil prices are currently putting a hurt on them too. Some people don't know but Ntz has a pretty strong small well oil industry.


If they don't get something going soon they will end up like so many ghetto mississippi towns.

Agree completely, really a shame too as the architecture, downtown layout and topographics are hard to replicate..

Yeah I've notice that with all the geologist and geological companies there. CPE is based out of Natchez.
