Of course that is what they need up there

A bunch of drunk hillbillies with loaded weapons

Put Tennessee or Bama there as well with loaded weapons there might be a shoot out at midfield after the game

Good.
And before the gun controlls freak out, it's only for CCW permit holders.

The security there is incredibly minimal. You could already easily waltz right in with a concealed weapon there is no metal detectors. Completely different from an NFL stadium. They really just check bags that's all. Extremely easy to sneak your own beers or liquor in there.

Even us Georgians know not to mix firearms and sporting events

The state of Alabama is trying to pass legislation for concealed carry, no permit.

Sounds crazy to me.

Allowing a deadly weapon into an event where mass amounts of alcohol are consumed where tens of thousands of people are emotionally invested in the outcome. What a great fricking idea

Allowing people to arm themselves while watching Arkansas football is extremely irresponsible

That is not smart at all.

I say that as a CWP holder who carries almost every where.

Holy shite. So you can bring a gun, but don't dare try to sneak in an umbrella or a flask of liquor! What a moronic idea. Sad thing is, it would probably pass in every other SEC state if proposed. How stupid can the south get? They seem determined to find out.

Thank God they didn't have them last year in Fayetteville for the LSU game.

Dale and Lat would be in prison right now.

I am a strong gun proponent and holder of an enhanced carry license but this is crazy. Our state passed a Church protection (offering immunity to church members who go through training to protect the church) act last year. I've heard no mention of our church pursuing that but would decline if asked to be a part. I went through class with people that I wouldn't want to be in the same parking lot much less, Church or football stadium if they went to shooting. Allowing anyone to tote is ridiculously retarded.
