This is bull shite. I sat watching and bitching about Dale in 1983 in my Best Friends living room and his big brother jumped our arse for it. That big brother is now Dale Browns son in law and I would bitch about him again if I had too. Dale was a great LSU coach but he sucked in game coaching.

Go back and watch Daddy Dale masterfully coach the 1986 games vs GA TECh and UK in the Omni. With less talent.

Can not stand Bobby Knight but one of his famous quotes was 1000% accurate: when asked post game after he had just beaten LSU in the semi finals, if he was worried at the end of the game when it got close, he replied " Well, I was, till I looked down & saw Dale Brown on the other bench." Brown was a great motivator. He could not spell X's & O's. Like John Brady, people here forget just how bad the program was in his years. He called the NCAA the Gestapo Bastards & then had his money man lose his bag of money while recruting Chris Jackson in Miss.
