If you really feel the need to tell him then ask him if he knows about the legality of flying in a national park, because you are "interested". And if he doesn't know, then maybe he'll look into it and educate himself.

I saw an Inspire at Spanishtown parade flying over the crowds and parade which is completely illegal. And you WILL NOT get permitted to do that at a public parade.

Then he is definitely breaking the law. If he's aware he's doing so, then I'd say let him go about his business. He's an adult and if he gets caught he'll only have himself to blame.
If he's not aware that he's breaking the law then I don't see the harm in giving the guy a heads up.

I saw a Mavic at the McNeese/LSU baseball game a couple weeks back. I was kind of shocked that the pilot kept it outside of the stadium like he/she was supposed to.

Answer: The rule doesn’t restrict flight over national parks. No rules today, but the National Parks Service does not allow landing or taking off from their land. This would be the same as any local entity that have the authority over land use they can decide where you can land and take off. That is not an air space regulatory issue. The FAA doesn’t allow or disallow operations over national parks, but the National Park Service does regulate who does land or take off on their land.

Probably don't want people fricking with bears and other wildlife.

Yes and No. There's a loophole at the moment. You MAY NOT take off and land within a national park. You MAY take off and land outside of the park.

We just stayed at a Nat'l park in Moab, Utah. In addition to the signs posted at the visitor center, the lady taking my fees asked if I had a drone. Seems like maybe it has been an issue at that particular park
