It'll take time but given our talent base I don't think the rebuild will take as long as some think. His staff picks will be crucial.

I think people will be patient if they at least start to see a product on the court that looks like the players are receiving some level of coaching and don't display the basketball IQ of a JV highschool team.

Optimistic.
I wanted him to do well, but you knew deep down Jones wasn't going to get anything done.
If Davis was the hire you knew LSU would be much better coached, but I think the middle of the SEC was probably their destination.
Was hoping for a more proven coach, but this hire brings hope along with it

he's got to be a better game time coach.
he's got to be better at developing players.
AAU recruiting is the question.
If it could be done, I would keep JJ as recruiter liaison with the AAU and have a real coach be the practice and game time coach.
