probably also why there aren't many black Formula 1 or Nascar racers- the equipment and training costs have been prohibitive for many black countries and thus never had such a tradition in it

Well I knew someone who was trying to get into pro fishing but had trouble getting sponsored. So instead he started working for someone who is already established.
If sponsorship is an issue then that may be the reason in cycling.

Some cyclists can look really hot and fit, but trust me when I say you don't want to bang a hardcore cyclist.
I did in college and it was weird. She competed for the US junior olympic team. Great body (to look at at). Then I banged her and grabbed her arse and legs and it was like grabbing a man's arse and legs. There's nothing sexy about touching a woman's body and it being rock hard everywhere. I had a very confused boner.
