With everything that was going on yesterday, I haven't heard anything about yesterday's scrimmage.

All I got is Lindsey Scott Jr. Continues to improve and Corey Thompson was beasting. I'll keep looking.
It was limited media btw.

Media is never allowed but usually there is at least an interview or press release afterward.

Miles press releases made you think Brandon Harris would be All American

McMillan will be the backup. Has really impressed the staff this Spring.

I read on Geaux247 that Lindsay Scott Jr threw the only TD which was a 60-70 yard throw to Drake Davis

Oh surely a Miles presser would have been "had a good go" and "had a want"!
After all, he was so "entertaining".

"We threw it for about 243 and ran it for about 207. Harris had some nice throws, 4 TDs, defense made some plays."

And the Scott bromances (who have probably never seen him play) and the Narcisse bromances (who have probably never seen him play), and all the others who always think the best LSU quarterback is the one who's never played.

Coaches and players change, but the fans continue to be the same dumbasses.

the Scott "Friends & Family Entourage"
Well I am the "I want a good QB for LSU Entourage"
I would take McMillan, Scott, the two freshman and even Etling to emerge as a very good QB.
Not knocking Etling but we need a true QB completion and the best QB starts. I do not want Etling because he is the safe call.

I think that there will be an actual competition, but Etling makes the most sense as of now. He's played SEC ball before and knows what it's like to go in a control a game. LSU doesnt need an all star back there. We just need someone to take care of the ball for us.

From what I was told this weekend, the depth chart was arranged according to seniority. DE is the starter from the 1st day of spring. No one is competing against him. He's taking 60% or more of the snaps. The other guys are splitting the rest. The approach (at least for now) seems to be more about building depth, than creating competition. The depth building approach means that a priority is placed on giving the older guy a closer look, as well building his confidence.
If a younger guy emerges too soon, you run the risk of massive preseason transfers.

If he can stay healthy, I expect great things.
He was king of the annual fall "splooge over players' muscle gains thread" last year.
