Looking for suggestions on apartment complexes for a studio or 1 bedroom in the Baton Rouge area (other than El Cid).
Seems like most places are at least $1000, so something around that price range or maybe a little more would work.

The Enclave off Corporate is nice. Gated, Gym, very nice pool area, managed well, very clean, neighbors are all nice, have jobs, professional, etc...
Little pricey for one person for a 1bed/1bath, but if you can find a roomate, rent only runs you 675 per person for 2bed/2bath.

The High Grove. Lived here while I was working in BR briefly. They're sweet, and very affordable considering how nice they are. 
eta: Had one of those spots overlooking the pool. Unreal amount of smoke shows there in the summer.
