I was on the golf team in HS. The chess team in middle school. And watch 95% of every televised shot in the PGA year. I can handle some slow shite

Basketball though....can't do it. Intentionally not playing your sport is not a fun strategy to watch. They don't run more sets. They run bullshite until the shot clock gets to 7. If you need 45 seconds to run your set...you need to go the frick home.

IMO, of course.

In the past 10 or fewer years it became iso ball it was bad. But from about 85-2010 they ran sets. Izzo killed sets as he began the over coaching thing. Once he took a team that had no business in the Final 4 it was over coaches copy coaches.

Go watch sets that IU, Michigan, Carolina, all ran they are things of beauty. UNLV even ran some great stuff, but generally did not need to.

Georgetown and Syracuse would run some stuff that was interesting and everyone still uses Wooden and Smith's stuff.
