That's going to be a long arse boardwalk, ~2 miles. That'll make access to the Caminada Pass side alot easier though.

I still wish they'd allow camping there again but realize that may never happen as people would just trash the place.

Never made that walk from the road but can imagine that's a helluva hike pulling cart full of gear. Not allowing driving on the beach helped people in boats...I had less people to fight over the breakers with
