What these men did was terrible. But a lot of the comments above are just taking a specific incident and trying to make it about race. While I don't disagree with a lot of these comments, it still has nothing to do with politics. It's just stereotyping.

OK, maybe I can help you understand (but maybe not). Do you know where the word 'politics' comes from? It comes from 'policy.' Politicians make policy. You might call them 'laws.'

Slavery was a policy. So is emancipation, segregation, hate crimes, racial school pairings, racial quotas, crime, as well the courts and penal system. White flight, gentrification, and zoning all have to do with race, taxes and crime.

For you to suggest that interaction between citizens of different races doesn't fall under the umbrella of politics makes you look stupid. You don't want to look stupid, do you?
