They just need to repeal the ACA and then set about creating a robust "Charity Hospital System" to trrindigent people with real maladies. Forget the "designer' processes like elective abortion and sex-change crap. Otherwise pay for what you want = insure yourself or rely on Charity Hospital.
By robust, I mean real hospitals set up to deliver real health care staffed by doctors who select to go there or as internship long enough to pay off their student loans. And provide some pro-bono service (like lawyers do) to cycle all doctors thru the system in order to provide upper echelon leadership and tutoring to oversee the processes.
Nothing is free, except we do need to provide for basic needs for the truly indigent = don't show up all tatted up and working our iPhone.

Totally agree. Medicare/Medicade and healthcare for people who otherwise can't afford it should be covered by charities. They'd do a better job than the gov't would.

You couldn't be more right. I believe true the truly indigent should be humanely treated and provided health care. The rest of able bodied America-get out there and pay for your health care and find places that are reasonable and have health insurance. I went from being a single mom who truly figured it out on my own as I always made just a bit more than qualified for any help. I could have quit my job though and actually lived better back then. That is messed up. But I chose the right path. Worked my arse off despite physically incurable illness in both myself and my child I now have college and home ownership to my name. The American dream is out there even for those who don't have it easy if you will put your nose to the grindstone and just do it. I had no family support or anything. I just said I want a better life and I wasn't about to quit pushing and decide to live on handouts and disability which I qualify for. I can knock lazy people because I know what it's like to get up in pain every day and still make it happen. If all Americans had a work ethic and contacted our congressmen and women to voice our views instead of sticking heads on sand and hoping for the best then maybe we could get real change for the people by the people. THose with the loudest voices get heard. And often those voices don't speak for the majority of citizens. Speak up. And get busy America!!!! Luv from the Real Mum!!!
