How does it do on the firestick? I haven't gotten a fire tv yet..

In my experience with the fire tv stick - I'd avoid it. Both DirecTV Now and SlingTV always seemed sluggish on that device. I'd just pay the extra few $$ for a full blown Amazon Fire TV, in my opinion.

This. Sling has come a long way since inception. Seems like very few people are getting buffering problems with sling anymore as long as you have a decent box and reasonable data speed.

Yea, I just re-signed up to SlingTV last night for the 7 day trial and the new menu on the Xbox One S is 15x better than the old crap they had popped out. It's much better now and I may very well keep the 20$ Orange + 5$ Sports pack and drop my 35$ DirecTV Now package.

The only thing I'd lose would be HBO but I hardly use that. The fact that SlingTV has apps for the Xbox One S, Windows 10/my laptop, Amazon Fire TV and the Apple TV makes it widely more usable than DirecTV Now and PSVue.

Am I the only one in this boat?

Too bad they can't make up a $5 charge to add multiple users on the orange account..with that you can only stream from one device at a time..

I have tried PSVue, DTVNow and Sling.

I liked Sling the least of all three. It buffered sometimes on a 1st gen Firestick. OK on Second gen and Fire TV box.

Directv Now was ok. Still needs work. App would just stop randomly at times. They decided to upgrade the channel guide one night just as I was about to watch The Walking Dead.
This was a no go. One of the few shows I like to watch live because of spoilers. I got a Firestick out of the deal for pre-paying for one month. Meh.

The $35 PSVue package suits my needs the best so far.
I think them not having the Viacom channels bothers some users, especially those with kids because no Nickelodeon.

They each have their merits.

How is the PS Vue quality on the Fire TV box?

It's not out yet is it? I just signed up for it last week or so for my area code here in New Orleans.

I like it. Just swapped from the Roku which I believe everyone agrees has the worst UI.

Very similar to the PS4. The guide is missing the PIP but you still get audio while you're surfing around for something else to watch. It may be just a tad bit slower than the PS4 as well.

Overall I'm pretty satisfied with it.
