Yeah but it's not pure action. That was the OP contention. And its a good revenge film.

John Wick is very much like Payback (albeit Payback has a better story) - but

Pure action...no...I think John Wick tries to be a story...it's a weak story but it tries to set the table.

Chuck Norris has some films that are more pure action and far less of a story. Invasion U.S.A. - 1985?

Stallone? Rambo 2008?

Again, 300?

Body counts on these movies are insane.
