That trade is still so awesome.

It really shows you how the NFL has totally changed.

The Walker trade was made when people still thought you needed a "franchise running back."

It is still the largest trade in NFL history...and has spawned countless conspiracies - NFL wanted Cowboys relevant again.

The biggest lopsided is Elway though.

Sure, Elway wasn't going to play for the Colts but the Colts just fricking gave him away - for nothing.

Colts got:

QB Mark Hermann;
the rights to offensive tackle Chris Hinton
1st round first-round pick in the 1984 draft, which ended up being guard Ron Solt.
