The insecurity of men and their mistakes of marrying before the age of 30 come out in these BS threads. Don't rush into having kids either. Take the first two years of marriage and travel and enjoy them. You've got plenty of time to have kids.

Additionally, if you get married and then become a fatass sloth who eats 5000 calories a day and then drinks every night, don't expect your marriage to last any significant length of time or for your woman to remain faithful.

I see many men who just let themselves go in their 30s and then they wonder why everything fell apart. It's up to you, as the man, to lead the relationship. Women take cues from you, so if you're fricking your own life up then don't be surprise when she does the same.

I married at age 22, but our first kid isn't due until June.....6 years to the month after we got married.

All it comes down to is choosing wisely, being honest with each other, and not being in a danged rush to get hitched/have kids. Like you said, they'll happen eventually for most folks if they've built a solid relationship first.

Mine ain't perfect, of course, but I'm the happiest I've ever been since I've been with her, and both of us are committed to doing our part to keep the marriage healthy.

There was a study done with fruit flies, by Dr. Michael R. Rose, that lends credence to the idea that if people wait until later in their lives to have kids then the human race will(albeit slowly) develop a longer lifespan. It took twelve generations for a substantial change in the fruit flies.
