There is a whole lotta supposition in this. We have no idea who was tapped, when and what they found.
And it takes a long time to do these investigations and sift through evidence. Case in point, investigation into hillary's email took years.
What we do know is that Trump could clear this up very quickly by explaining what he knows and how he came to know it.

He probably read the newspaper. It has all been detailed in the freaking news, but they deny it even happened still. AMAZING!
