False.
The Dollar Generals will continue to exist because some people don't have credit cards (that shopping "experience" can be totally replicated online).
And then some Brick and mortar stores will survive, but it will be those that offer unique service and experience. And it likely will be in cities where there is sufficient supporting population and income.
Wouldn't surprise me to see the haberdashery make a comeback.

False. With them starting to charge sales tax in a lot of their markets already and lots of brick and mortar stores having price match, I do a lot of my buying local again. Online sales will really take a big hit when sales tax is charged nationwide.
As far as the OP's question, none of those are close to a monopoly in my opinion. Google would be the closest but they are still a long way from it.
Current monopolies would lean more towards local high speed internet and cable providers for most smaller areas. Where I live, my high speed internet is shitty satellite internet, shitty DSL or shitty Comcast.
