Yeah, my comment was BEFORE I saw the actual clip. I was only expressing my concern because the media was really embellishing the whole gay angle. I don't have a problem with the scene.

The way it's being played up makes me think there has to be more than just that one clip. If not, then they're taking a huge risk by making such a big deal out of it.

That is actually the right thing to do in this case.

It's a PG rated Disney movie.

Is this supposed to mean something to me?

I'm not even sure a child would pick up on it being about gay people.

The outrage over this is hilarious and a quite hypocritical, all things considered.

Not going to a movie =/= outrage.

Maybe, but the way they're playing it up makes it seem like there has to be more than that clip. The only reason anyone would know what happens in that clip is a "exclusively gay moment" is because they said it is. It isn't "exclusively" anything on its own.

It should. What are you afraid your kid might see? Two dudes hugging? Maybe a kiss if they really want to get racy?

It's a man singing about another man. That's the exact part everyone is referencing. Thankfully, no sodomy will be in this Disney film. Maybe a gay porn spoof one day, but not in this one. I think most people, like sabi did, are commenting on this before even really looking into it.

Gotta love facebook news.

For sure this is absolutely something I will not be introducing my children to in any context where it is viewed as acceptable behavior.

If so, then Disney shouldn't have allowed it to be played up the way it has been. I have to wonder if there's more than just that one clip based on the original announcement.

Disney played this up.

I've yet to see anything played up by Disney. But I also don't see an issue with the actors praising Disney for making it a point of emphasis to include real life scenarios, as long as it's in good taste. And this is.

God forbid Disney acknowledges gay people exist.

just saw your link

Just tell your kids it's fantasy, just like the bestiality between a woman falling in love with an animal.

Disney isn't in the business of controlling/limiting free speech

I don't understand it. My aunt is this way. She's overly Christian, to a fault. She doesn't believe her kids should see this stuff and therefore shelters it from them. Demonizing people is not what Christ would want, and by sheltering your kids from that, you're doing just that.

They can do what they want. All I'm saying is the way this was handled makes it seem like there is far more to it than just the clip that was released.

Y'all are the only ones who have a problem with peoples' choices here.

Nope, this isn't at all what is happening here.
