I work with the kids grandmother. Looks like the kid was at fault unfortunately. Darted out between 2 cars is what I hear as well. Didn't hear nothing about earplugs though.

Or people need to learn how to drive. Not implying this guy did anything wrong, I'm just sick of the mentality we all need to drive 25 mph at all times for "safety" like some of these overzealous asshats want.
