Probably so. Best weight to maximize speed while not being a detriment to power.

Ricky williams is a great example. Played college ball at 225 got to Nola around 236 then up to 240 by his second year. He did ok but then was traded to Miami got on a new diet and dropped to 225 and led the NFL, went for over 1,800 yards and changed his career. NFL is a little different too now days defenses are smaller 225 is plenty and he can use every bit of speed he has to hit the home run plays.
