During an interview with NFL Network’s Good Morning Football on Friday, Falcons receiver Mohamed Sanu was asked if the lengthy halftime show had a negative affect on his team.

“It definitely did,” Sanu said.

That sound you hear is Gaga album sales crashing in Atlanta.

“Usually, halftime is only like 15 minutes, and when you’re not on the field for like an hour, it’s just like going to work out, like a great workout, and you go sit on the couch for an hour and then try to start working out again,” Sanu said.

Is this Gagagate?

This is the same shite the Ravens tried to pull against the Niners.

Is momentum SO HUGE in the NFL, teams get totally demoralized if they have to wait an extra 15-30 minutes.

This is a team...full of tons of players...this isn't some tennis player by himself that is totally dominating and has to go to the clubhouse for a rain-delay for 4 hours.

The Falcons didn't totally collapse and begin to choke until the 4th quarter was almost done.

Their awesome first half performance was outdone by a pop star's halftime performance.

I don't like Gaga but she knocked it out of the park.

Not quite. That happened during play. But, I would agree momentum is huge, and affected that SB. Hope they never hold it in NOLA again for that reason.

Everyone that plays in the super bowl talks about the length of half time.

I thought halftime was always longer in the Super Bowl?

I know the Failcons didn't have any firsthand experience but you'd think they watched at least one on TV.

That's when the long grinding wait during halftime really wore them down.

They should go back to the Super Bowl halftime shows I watched as a kid in the Seventies. Up With People or marching bands. The Oakland Raiders didn't have time for that shite.

They literally blame EVERYONE but themselves for EVERY single loss in their franchise's history.

Sean Payton talked about the longer half time and how coaches have to consider it when making thinking about the game.
