I'm at about 17k miles and have yet to even give it a thought until now. About to get an oil change soon, however, so I'll be doing it then.

Is there a rule of thumb? What works best for y'all?

If you rotate them now you're going to have pull. Best to rotate them every oil change or 5k miles.

Parents always did every 6 months, so I follow suit. Tires twice a year, truck nuts every 2 years.

At every oil change. I change my oil every 5K and rotate then. Easy peasy.

I have never rotated tires on any vehicle. Never had any pool. And they always last well past what they are designed to

Every other oil change, or about every 8K-10K miles. Makes a difference in the life of your tires.

This is not true.

And I rotate every 5k with oil change. Some tires now can be cross rotated as well.

I just had minez rotated after 2nd oil change(used car) at 20kmiles(honda 4cyl synthetic done at dealer).
It's got a slight pull to right. But I expected it.

As long as i get 50k+ on my tires I don't mind a lil pull here or there.

Front wheel drive car every 5k

Rear wheel drive truck every 10k

We used to do every 10k on the car, but tires were wearing out on the edges and the balance was perfect. Some fwd vehicles have torque steering which means they need to be rotated more often.
