Yeah, the doctors usually want every piece of information before they will talk to you. Especially if this particular doctor is just a regular gynecologist. My doctor put me through hell with this. She told me she had information just not all of it and wouldn't tell me anything else. Cancer is not an obgyns area at all and they hesitate to speak on it, as they should. I was my regular gyn's only patient EVER with the type of cancer I had. Supposedly she has seen 35000 women in her career. I was quickly referred to a local gyn/onc and settled on a different one at mda when I got a second opinion. The point you are at were the hardest days of my life. It is not how everyone thinks. So many steps and so much waiting. Hold your wife. Prayers and I hope this turns out to be nothing at all. Keep us informed.
