I don't see most people freakn out, I see a legit concern that has happened in previous games. They put the wrong pitchers in at the wrong times, once Kiel struggled you don't put Straul in the game, that's ridiculous unless of course you want a great shot at losing the game. I think Manerie rides the ledge or edge way too much, will this come back to hurt us no but it's the same stuff with zero learning. Bain or Norman should have been in after Kiel period. Now if y'all can't take constructive criticism for obvious coaching mistakes, which it was and wasn't the first time, then you're the pus freaking out about constructive criticism. GT

Bayou Bengal, so you know more about pitching & this LSU staff than Coach Dunn, right? After all, he was the minor league pitching director of a MLB team for over a decade. He has seen every pitch that every pitcher on this year's team has thrown since Aug. He was the National Pitching Coach of the year recently. But you know what was an "obvious coaching mistake" and Coach Dunn does not? Pitching Bain or Norman instead of Kiel proves what, exactly? They are proven pitchers. This was Kiel's first outing. What is more import ant, winning a mid week game in Feb. or developing Kiel? Obviously, let's throw Staul under the bus too & relegate him to the end of the bench. After one outing.
