The lady told us the store was built there because it was a one day hike from the river. Migrant workers would walk from a landing on the river to there.

The question about how many falls I've heard more than 40. I've been to 13 that are not very hard to get too. Not sure how big or where the others are. They may be really small. There are also a few on private property not for public.
